I wasn’t sure of which subgenres I wanted to write in the beginning.

I’ve realized it's better to be mentally prepared to write many books if you’re writing in the cozy mystery genre or any genre. It makes sense. Not from a readership perspective but from a marketing perspective as well. But, is writing a stand-alone single book the same as writing a series?
Since I’ve not written any cozy mystery before I plan to get some help.
My action plan is to first read some books on the topic of how to write cozy mystery books.
I searched on Amazon and I came across several titles. I am not going to read through every single one of them but the idea is to go through the ones that have shortlisted.
